On the web COUNTRY MUSIC TELEVISION is one of the most reliable sources for country music. Artists' tours, TV schedules for country music's original continuous country video channel: Features like 20 Questions --interviews with many of Music City's biggest stars and a column called Nashville Skyline. Another reliable and cool place to visit for artists info, upcoming country events, including live broadcasts from The Grand Ole Opry & exclusive clips, is the official home page for the video music channel GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY (GAC) The site also has program schedules and all request call-in shows. The web (and other part's of the net) is loaded with many excellent lyrics servers, meaning places to find the words and music to hit records. One of the best I've found is lyrics.com Browse by Artist or song title. Click on a letter from A-Z and the search engine will supply a list of all available artists and songs whose name begins with the letter you selected COUNTRY DANCE UK, will help you become more familiar with the hot country music dance scene in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales (broken down by region.) Click on links and search thru the list of country music events, including festivals, artists, dancing associations, and nite clubs. The One Eyed Parrots Dance Club is all about country dancing. The club created by dance instructors Randy Pelletier and Doreen Ollari and other people also interested in perserving and growing country line & couples dancing as an art form and as a great way to have fun. The club is in residence at Amvets Country Dance Club, Post 12, Chicopee MA (where Randy & Doreen teach every Friday night.)
